Large Red Suzani

This Suzani, intricately hand-embroidered on rich red silk, is from Central Asia and is estimated to be over 50 years old. It has recently been backed with a durable cotton fabric to protect the delicate silk and preserve its intricate embroidery. Whilst there are a few barely noticeable signs of wear in the silk, they only add to its timeless charm.
